What do I have to do if I want a translation done?

If you are an individual, please go to the INDIVIDUALS section. If you are a company, please go to the COMPANIES section.

How much does a translation cost?

It depends on many variables (place and date, language, hours of work, etc.), so it is better if you contact us by email or by phone and we will answer your queries.

Do I need to make an appointment before going to your office?

Appointments are not necessary. You can visit our office at your own convenience, within our uninterrupted office opening hours, which are from Monday to Thursday between 08:00 a.m. and 08:00 p.m. and Friday between 08:00 a.m. and 04:00 p.m., except public holidays.

How can I request a sworn translation if I do not live in Madrid?

You can send us the original document by post or by courier service, stating the language you would like us to translate it into and your contact details (name, address and telephone number). After the document has been translated, we will send you the original and the translation by certified mail, COD (cash on delivery). However, the delivery deadline for the document may be extended by up to approximately one week.

What do I do if I cannot personally go to the office to pick up my translation?

If you are a company, you can send us a courier without any problems.
If you are an individual, you can send us any person you trust to our office with the slip we will give you when you place an order. If you cannot come personally or send us anybody, you can ask us to send you the translated document by post when you ask us to do the translation.

Can I ask you to do a translation and have it delivered on the same day?

Depending on the language and our availability (which in turn depends on the work volume we have at that time and translators’ holidays), it is possible to receive a translation back on the same day. However, you need to give it to us as early as possible and we will charge you the rate for urgency (which is 50% more than our normal rate). Please ask us for further information.
